Wings of Peace Between-the-Wars Civil Aircraft |
1) Contests are open to any civil aircraft from the between-the-wars period.Unarmed military
aircraft in civil markings are eligible (for example: the Armstrong
Whitworth Siskin or any of the many World War I aircraft used in
the civil market after the war), as are racers. 4) Multiple entries are permitted. 6) Contests are open to all current Wings of Peace members and those joining the Wings of Peace Yahoo Group during a contest. Note: All model photographs will be added to the gallery at the conclusion of the contest. Additional photographs of the model, including construction photos, are desired and will be added to the gallery at that time but may be submitted with contest photos. Please specify which photos are to be used for contest purposes.

JUDGING AND PRIZES Models will be judged by popular vote at the conclusion of the contest. The winner with the most votes gets to choose a prize first; the winner with the second highest number of votes chooses second, followed by the third and fourth place winners. |

Wings of Peace hopes to host contests on a regular basis. Contests will be themed and non-themed. Suggestions are welcome. The following themed contests are planned: - Record Breakers and Explorers (tentative date Spring 2009)
