This is an
originally LF Models' Altair
kit, and I converted to the Sirius float plane for the adventure flight
to
Asia by C. Lindbergh and his wife in 1931.
To get a Sirius, I put filler into the holes of landing gears and added
rounded exhaust pipes just before the engine cylinders. The floats
are
from
a MPM's Vega float plane kit. All markings are homemade ones printed
with
ALPS printer.
