Dot Wings of Peace Airliners/Open Theme Contest Continues!

The Wings of Peace Airliners/Open Theme Contest has commenced and will run through midnight EDT, January 31, 2012.

Contest models can be kit or scratch built, of any scale, and built of any material. Static or flying models may be entered.

Models constructed during the contest may be entered. Models begun, but not finished, prior to the start of the contest may be entered. Models entered that do not meet these conditions, unfortunately, will be disqualified from the contest; but the photos may be included in the Wings of Peace Gallery at the request of the builder.

As soon as we start receiving entries they will be available for viewing by clicking on the "See Entries" button below. Likewise, as prizes are donated, they can be viewed by clicking on the "Prizes" button below.

All entrants will receive a certificate of participation, suitable for framing, and winners will also receive a certificate of award.

Dot Splash page features: Our splash page features a different Wings of Peace members' model each month. Models are selected from our Gallery photos. The featured models for the month of November 2011 is the Payen Pa 350CD, built by Alexander Nevsorow.

 

   Wings of Peace Gallery

We welcome your submissions for our model gallery. Just email at least three photos or more to gallery submissions. Photos should be of a good quality and be at least 600 pixels wide at 72 DPI or higher. We will also include your notes on building the model, if you submit them along with your photos. Turnaround times are currently running between 24-48 hours.
